Luckily, our inside trips allow you to discover the nice places of Switzerland in spite of inclement weather.
trip #1 : Art, city and shopping in Fribourg and Berne
Taking the
minivan, drive the
picturesque streets of these
medieval cities. Then select the
museums you are interested in and end your day in the little
shopping side streets of Berne with their
charming, covered arcades.

trip #2 : Sports, art and relaxing between Lausanne and Martigny
Begin your day in the magnificent
Olympic museum of Lausanne, and after all these efforts focus on relaxing in the
thermal baths next to the Dents-du-Midi. Then the famous
Gianadda Foundation invites you to discover its exposition of
Monet as well as its museum of
ancient cars.
trip #3 : Gruyere region and the city of Fribourg
The first part of the day starts with the
Gruyere House, a small museum about the famous cheese followed by a quick visit of the
Gruyere village with its castle and small museums.
Before leaving this famous medieval village, you will be served a
fondue "half and half" in one of the typical restaurants of the village.
In the afternoon, we will honor your sweet tooth with a visit to the
Cailler chocolate factory which also includes an entirely new museum about chocolate making (tasting is also included!), a short visit to the Angelo Rime farm who makes the best meringues in the world and finally, a small tour of
Fribourg, a magnificent capitol which as kept its medieval character.
You finish the trip with a brief visit to
Espace Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint-Phalle and the
chocolate shops Villars to get some chocolate
souvenirs!
trip #4 : Underground Cathedral, Art and Valaisian Architecture
If you are into underground halls and caves, this trip is for you !
The first visit is to the
salt mines of Bex where man has carved out the rock by hand in search of salt which was valued like gold.
In Saint-Maurice you will enter the
enchanted cave, a natural cave discovered over 2000 years ago.
A brief visit to the
Gianadda Foundation allows admiring its
collection of historic automobiles and the works of
Monet followed by a little boat ride on the
largest underground lake of Europe at Saint-Léonard.
Finally, we suggest discovering the unlikely and magnificent
church of Hérémence, made entirely out of concrete and nested in the Hérens valley.
Please note to take some warm clothes it is between 10°C to 17°C in the underground caves.
To ensure your comfort, the indoor trips are made using the
minivan.
